Ekeng finally put to rest


Patrick eking is gone forever the youngster who died a few weeks ago while playing for his club side dynamo out there in Romania was brought back to the country yesterday and his funeral procession was done at the Warda Sports Complex which was attended by the minister of sports and physical education Pierre Ishmael Bidungpwat. His funeral procession brought players and old friends like Alexandre Song and the entire sports family in Cameroon.

His family members are left in a sad mode to mourn their father son and while his wife Nathalie Ekeng and their 3 year old daughter were inconsolable.

FAKO League kicks off with a bang


The 2016 season of the Fako Divisional League has been launched. A ceremony to officially kick off the season took place at the Mount Cameroon Sports Complex in Lyongu Buea on Saturday may 14, the opening game pitted pan African institute to Africa dreams ended 1 all on both sides after 90 minutes of play.

The event witnessed the presence of the members of the members of the executive of the Fako League and those of the south west regional league of football FECAFOOT and was placed under the patronage of the president of the regional league Mr Eteki Charles Dikonge.

Some 10 clubs have registered for the league so far.


Cameroon Mourns once more for the loss of another one of its sporting icon

The trying moment for Cameroon football continued last night with the death of a former indomitable lion and former coach of Union of Douala and FECAFOOT administrator David Mayebi. The FA bureau executive member had a malease in Bertoua where they went to sign a contract with some councils and lay the foundation stones for the construction of new stadiums. He was the founder of SYNAFOC . And it is reported that he died of a heart attack.

Buea fashion week to take center stage with closing ceremonies

Buea fashion week ends today which began on may 12 2016.  This historic event took place at the Buea shopping mall, mile 16. The event which was the first of its magnitude was organized by Miss Beneta Nwonori, one of the top ranked tropical designer in Cameroon. The fashion week was aimed at show casing talent especially in Cameroon as far as fashion is concerned. One of Cameroons best actress Anne Mohvu together with Bernard Christian were the main host of this event. Several other artists and fashion designers used the occasion to showcase their works of art.
